Longcliffe is a welcoming club where new members are made to feel at home. Membership is a great way to meet people and make life-long friendships. A number of groups turn up to play social golf on most days and welcome new members to join them.
Longcliffe is set on the picturesque, wooded slopes of the Charnwood Forest. Each hole has its own individual character which provides an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities.
Being a member of Longcliffe allows you to play regular club competitions throughout the golfing season including medals, stablefords, team AmAm's, and knockouts.
Only by being a member of iGolf or a Club you can attain an official WHS handicap. Longcliffe will support you in getting an official handicap.
There are representative, competitive and social team matches. Being part of the club, you have the opportunity to represent Longcliffe in matches against other clubs.
A vibrant and growing Ladies Section. Longcliffe Ladies have a thriving social life, hold competitions on Tuesdays and participate in regular competitive team matches against other clubs.
Longcliffe Seniors (55+) welcome new members and participate in regular competitive team matches against other clubs. This provides the opportunity to play different courses and socialise with golfers from other clubs in the area.
Our popular Junior Academy successfully introduces youngsters to the game of golf and provides high quality coaching with our resident PGA professionals.
Our clubhouse is a great place for eating, drinking and socialising with your friends and family. Children are most welcome. Members can book the Clubhouse Dining Room and Lounge for private functions at no cost. Club nights are very well supported and occur each month and other Social events take place regularly.
Longcliffe offers members preferential guest green fee rates so you can invite your friends to play, attend social functions and use the clubhouse bar and restaurant.
