Update for Visitors: Fairway mats are now mandatory for all play in the 'General Area' within the wooden stakes. Mats must also be used on tees when expecting to take a divot. Visitors may borrow a mat from the Pro Shop.

This long challenging par 4 hole has the reputation of being one of the finest in the midlands.

The narrow tiered tee opens up to a sloping fairway guarded by trees and rough on both sides. The distant small severely sloping green is guarded by a pot bunker to the front right hand side and the approach falls severely right.

Pro's Tip: Keep tee shot to left of fairway to avoid the trees and copse on the right. The demanding second shot needs to be kept well to the left to allow for the approach to the green or to set up a challenging chip.
