A beautiful tree lined heath land course set on the edge of Charnwood Forest.

Established in 1906, Longcliffe Golf Course is carved out of the ancient Charnwood Forest. Mature trees separate most holes, heather and gorse reflect their heath land character, the finely cut fairways are lined with fine grasses in summer and the small deceptive greens run fast and true.

WHS Slope Rating

North

The first nine holes wind their way up the north facing slopes of the course as they cut through birch, oak and pine woodland before descending to the level woodland of the back nine. Each hole is unique and offers its own picturesque and enjoyable challenge, but beware, you cannot afford to relax.
