Visitor Important Information
  • No visitors allowed on Saturday before 14:00, Tuesday before 11:15, Wednesday before 13:00, or before 10:30 on Monday, Thursday, Friday or Sunday.
  • Juniors U18 get 50% discount — pay as shown online and claim 50% back from the Pro-Shop on the day. No discount for students.
  • Online green fee booking covers 18-hole visitor bookings only. For Day Rate or County Card, book the standard 18-hole rate and claim the difference back at the Pro-Shop.
  • Visitors are deemed single golfers up to a maximum of 12 golfers (up to 3 consecutive tee times).
  • Visitors must have a suitable level of proficiency; proof of handicap or membership may be requested by the Pro-Shop.

Society Important Information
  • Societies are deemed to be between 12 and 40 golfers (min 3 tee times, max 10). Larger groups by arrangement.
  • No societies allowed on Saturday or before 13:00 on Sunday or Wednesday.
  • Society meals: ask the Pro Shop or Food & Catering for options.
  • Online green fee booking covers 18-hole visitor bookings only. For County Card, book standard rate and claim the difference back on arrival.

Visitors Information and Green Fees

There cannot be many courses set in an area of such natural beauty. Add to this the warm hospitality and friendliness of our staff, both on the course and in our clubhouse, and it is clear why so many visitors and societies return year after year. From wherever you travel, either on business or pleasure, you will be made welcome at Longcliffe Golf Club. Please speak to our pro shop staff to arrange your visit and discuss green fee options.

  • All visitors and guests must report to the Pro Shop before play.
  • All visitors / guests must comply with the Club's Rules especially with regard to Dress and Course Etiquette - If in doubt please ask in the Pro Shop.
  • Visitors can normally book 5 days in advance (online or via the Pro Shop). Should a booking further in advance be required, an option exists for visitors to book a tee time between 1 pm and 4 pm (summer) and after 10:30 (winter) for most days - Bookings in advance can only be undertaken via the PRO-Shop.
  • Member's guests can book 6 months in advance (online or via the Pro Shop). This can only be undertaken via the Pro Shop. The same guest can only play as a member's guest max. 10 times per year. A member can bring as many guests as he / she wants per year, however, max. 3 guests per member at any one time. Guests can play in Club Draws but not competitions unless Opens or Invitationals. 
  • All players must maintain an acceptable pace of play.
  • All players must comply with the Rules of Golf and any local rules at Longcliffe golf club.
  • Visitor green fees if not paid online, must be paid prior to the round of golf at the PRO-Shop. If the PRO-Shop is for whatever reason closed, payment can be made at the bar. 
  • Online booking covers only 18 hole visitor bookings. If you want to book a day rate or use a County Card, please book a normal Visitor 18 hole rate and pay the Day rate / claim the County Card rate difference back from the PRO-Shop.
  • Visitors must have a suitable level of golfing proficiency to play at Longcliffe golf club and proof of handicap or a golf club membership might be asked by the Pro-shop.
